Dr. Rath's Scientific Discoveries PDF Print E-mail

Dr. Rath has made scientific discoveries in the causes and natural solutions to many diseases that rank among the most important in medicine. Two-time Nobel laureate Dr. Linus Pauling once said that Dr. Rath’s discoveries will be ranked among the most important scientific findings in the  20th Century. Practical implementation of these medical breakthroughs in the area of natural health opens up the way to improving the health and lives of all people now and for generations to come.

Cellular Medicine

Dr. Rath’s concept of Cellular Medicine begins a new area of science that focuses on micronutrient deficiencies as the most frequent root cause of today’s most common diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, cancer and many others. Cellular Medicine defines that optimum intake of essential micronutrients acting in biological synergy is the most effective and safe measure for the prevention and natural control of many health aspects.

Heart Disease

One of Dr. Rath’s most significant medical breakthroughs is his discovery that coronary heart disease is an early form of scurvy. This disease is most often triggered by a chronic deficiency of essential micronutrients in the cells composing the vascular wall. Over decades this micronutrient deficiency leads to impaired structural integrity and metabolic instability of the artery walls requiring their “biological” repair. In response, the body increases the influx and deposition of cholesterol-carrying lipoproteins, such as LDL and Lp-a into the affected areas of the artery wall. The increased needs for cholesterol as a response to impaired integrity of the coronary arteries is responsible for elevated cholesterol production in the liver.

This concept revolutionizes the current perception of the origin of heart disease and defines its new therapeutic targets, shifting them from high cholesterol as being a primary blood risk factor for this disease to the instability of the vascular wall as the real cause of atherosclerosis.

Other Cardiovascular Conditions

Dr. Rath’s discovery also identifies the long-term deficiency of essential micronutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, essential amino acids, and others as the root cause of many cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure and circulatory problems in diabetes.

Cancer

Dr. Rath introduced a new biological target in the effective control of cancer, by focusing on natural ways to increase the stability of the connective tissue in the body, which forms a natural barrier against the spread of cancer and its invasion to other organs. The amino acid lysine together with vitamin C - the key nutrients essential for collagen structural integrity and structure - form the foundation of the effective control of the spread of cancer in the body. Our further research has confirmed that lysine and vitamin C combined with EGCG and other specific nutrients in a biological synergy was successful in controlling the main critical steps of malignancy:

  • Stopping cancer cells invasion in the tissue essential for controlling metastasis
  • Impairing the uncontrolled growth of cancer cells essential for controlling tumor formation
  • Triggering apoptosis (natural cancer cell death)
  • “Impairing” new blood supply to tumors (angiogenesis) essential for controlling tumor growth and its ability to form metastases.

Literature

Dr. Rath is an accomplished scientist and internationally recognized physician whose breakthroughs in the natural control of heart disease and cancer are changing the way these health conditions are managed. Dr. Rath’s scientific discoveries and research have been extensively documented and printed in various medical journals, books, brochures and booklets.
